1. Suspended, frameless, tempered laminated glass curtain walls and canopies on steel framing at elevator hoist way.

2. Glass, anchors, fittings, and accessories.

3. Perimeter sealant.

4. Anti-graffiti film.

SANDAG and MCTC are finalizing the requirements of the parking structure at the La Jolla Village Square Plaza along Nobel Drive for the Mid-Coast LRT Extension. The parking structure will be procured by MCTC as a Design Build package. Bridging documents for the procurement are being prepared, and an RFP is expected within 90 days. Parking structure highlights include:

Capacity of ~500 spaces;
4 levels;
10-20 electric vehicle charging station;
Photo-voltaic system (sized to accommodate at least 75% of the estimated structure electrical usage);
Vehicle counting system;
Bicycle parking facility (similar to the one used at the Wells Fargo Building at 401 B Street); and
CCTV

Preliminary site plan showing a draft footprint, layout, and vehicular circulation is included in downloads. Prior to issuing an RFP, MCTC is seeking industry review and is inviting potential design-build entities to become part of the MCTC project team. Please contact us for an appointment.
